Kenny with U16 Selection

In WOSPAC, we keep celebrating. The U16 female Catalan soccer national team selected our player, Kenny Thompson, to play a friendly game against the national team of Finland. The final result was 2-0 for the Catalan national team.

Wake Forest at WOSPAC

The WOSPAC Teams program, which organizes stays and friendly matches for teams from around the world, received the visit of the Wake Forest University from the State of North Carolina, USA, with its section of soccer, one of the best universities in this field highlighting throughout all of the United States, competing every year in the final phases in the NCAA Championship. 

New Masia of Barcelona

The doors of the sportive training and education in Barcelona finally are open to everybody!!! Is it true that everybody would like to achieve his dream to be selected in his country by a scout of FC Barcelona to live in La Masia? Millions of athletes would like it, but the truth is that this rarely happens.

A little star from Bermuda!

Last week we had the pleasure to welcome the 9-year old soccer player Joao Rafael Saint Omer de Sá from Bermuda, who joined WOSPAC to take part in our 1-week SOCCER Stages program.

WOSPAC Stages at RCDE

The twenty-seventh round of the Spanish BBVA league was played on March 3rd. It was a very special day because five of our players from the WOSPAC Stages program went to the Cornellà el Prat stadium to watch RCD Espanyol hosts Real Betis thanks to five tickets given by WOSPAC.

Road to Catalan College

The second round of the handball Catalan college championship took place in the Catalan city of Igualada the last month of February. After the development of the championship, the semi-finals are as following.

CH Gavà sigue creciendo

WOSPAC supports handball. Three of the CH Gavà players, handball club linked to WOSPAC, took part in the Spanish territorial championship representing Catalunya in Almería. Jana Castañera, under 16, Claudia Limones and Sofía Feliu, under 14; were the players selected.

Play the MIC with WOSPAC

The best soccer tournament in the world for young talents, the Mediterranean International Cup (MIC) will kick off in less than one month. Top world players such as Messi, Neymar, Coutinho (both on the photo) Fàbregas, Piqué, Marcelo or Giovani Dos Santos, among others; have participated in the tournament.

CH Gavà nominated

We are to be congratulated – the Spanish magazine, Valonmano has placed Handbol Gavà as finalist for the best social media positioning reward. It is the first edition of these rewards and handball club linked to WOSPAC has made a place itself among the best clubs.

Albert Ruiz, living the dream
