We can happily announce the arrival of the 18-year-old soccer player Connor Noblat from the United States who joins WOSPAC and takes part in our SOCCER Stages program for the next 2 weeks.
After three weeks of intensive learning and gaining new football experiences, Lea Westlake has finished his stay within the WOSPAC SOCCER Coach program, where he has had the opportunity to broaden his knowledge as a coach and to get acquainted with new working methods through the training sessions he has taken part in at the WOSPAC Academy and with the different teams of UE Cornellà.
This week bid farewell Arthur van Den Brink, a Dutch student who the last 5 and a half months has been working in the Department of MKT & COM WOSPAC thanks to a scholarship granted by the Hogeschool van Rotterdam, the University of Applied Sciences where Arthur is in the third year of his studies.
Last weekend, our youth team formed by members of WOSPAC Stages, played a new match against Sagrat Cor de Sarria, where our players demonstrate once again his football qualities and completely overwhelmed the opponent with a 7-0 final where the football played by the WOSPAC players by game was high-level and unanswered by the opponent.
Jordan international player and currently player of Steaua of Bucharest, most successful team of the Romanian football and European champion in 1986 against FC Barcelona, Thaer Al Bawab visited the facilities of WOSPAC to learn more about the projects that we are undertaking, as well as the training methods.
This week, we would like to welcome three new players who have joined WOSPAC Stages. They are Jude Burst who comes from the US State of Louisiana, Gabriel Ocampos from San Jose, capital city of Costa Rica and Xi Haixiang from China.
The Australian Academy of soccer Football Movement, who is on tour around Spain, and has visited and trained in the sportive complexes of Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and the Spanish Football Federation, in his Las Rozas sports city, has visited this week WOSPAC being his last stop on this long tour they have done.
Last week, our program for trainers, WOSPAC Coach, received Lea Westlake of United States, that will be learning methods of work from the UE Cornellà and the philosophy that is implemented in the club.
This Sunday, the 17th of January, there is a very special guest in the Pavilion Jacme March of the Gavà Handball Club. From 16.00h to 18.00h, one of the most successful coaches in the world of International handball in, Xavi Pascual “Pasqui”, is visiting us. This is a great privilege and opportunity of having a conversation with one of the most successful coaches of the world.
On the 13th of January, we could enjoy of the game between RCD Espanyol and FC Barcelona. The last one of the three derbies of Barcelona in the last 2 weeks. WOSPAC took the opportunity to give 10 double entries away.
3 years ago the Handball Club Gava, became a WOSPAC partner in the form of Handball. They decided to devote efforts and resources to promote and form the basis categories. During these three years we saw the results, more children practicing our sport, more competitive and equipment. In this short step of our players there has been the program of modernization of the Catalan team.
The holidays are here and the boys of the SOCCER Stages program have been returning to their home countries in recent weeks to celebrate the holidays surrounded by family and friends.
