We put an end to a weekend full of football thanks to the Powerade Cup VI Alevín (two categories: 2004 and 2005) which was held from 18 to 20 December at the new head field of Cornellà.

FC Barcelona was favorite the in the tournament, as in the edition of last December where they became the champion in both categories. Suffered a setback when they lost the final 4-0 of Sevilla CF. The Catalans oppose without the lesser resistance against an intractable. In addition, the Andalusian side came from an upward dynamics after beating Real Madrid 2-0 in the semifinals and presenting his candidacy as one of the most reliable teams in the tournament. Similarly, the FC Barcelona in the semifinals undid Espanyol: 3-0.

In the category B, the Real Madrid team won the tournament very tightly. They won 1-0 of Villarreal in the semifinals and 3-2 to RCD Espanyol in the final. The other finalist, the RCD Espanyol defeated FC Barcelona on penalties in the semifinals.
