Hard work always helps to raise new challenges and to achieve new goals. And the first contacts with the American soccer get us closer to a booming sport.
Barely four months ago we started to work in the Unite States and now we can refer to the first steps in the North American country. As part of the WOSPAC US plan we set out to get to clubs, schools and American universities to offer an exclusive service and quality where young athletes could enjoy sports stays in the city of Barcelona. And the answer came fast.
The women’s teams from the University of Oregon and the University of Kentucky have already decided to go for WOSPAC to see first hand the kind of soccer experience we can offer. For that case we have the best technical staff to provide a unique stay they surely will always remember, plus a real chance to compete with the best teams in Barcelona.
The Oregon & Kentucky players will come to spend nine days in Barcelona to live surrounded by soccer. During their stay they will do 5 training sessions with our coaches, and play 4 games against important teams from the Catalan soccer. All this combined with leisure activities such as visiting Barcelona, visiting the most emblematic places, a visit to the stadium of FC Barcelona and its museum. 9 days in Barcelona to remember.
SOCCER phenomenon in USA
Women’s soccer is booming in USA and Spain, and this connection can be really fruitful for both sports cultures. In addition, currently the United States women’s national soccer team leads the FIFA World Ranking in the female category and participated in the Olympics and the Women’s World Cup in both U-20 and U-17 categories. It is certainly one of the most successful teams in its category, having won the World Cup three times and the gold medal at the Olympics Games in four of the five times the tournament has been played.
Great news for women’s sports, for football in Spain and above all, a special opportunity to see future growth cracks of football.
